Towson’s Gospel Choir, Infinite Praise Ministries, spreads the word of Jesus Christ through song on and off campus.
Even though they are not a large student based organization on campus, they make a significant impact on the campus community by bringing all religions together through song. The Towson University Gospel Choir ministers at local areas and around the state of Maryland upon request.
“The purpose of Infinite Praise Ministries is to reach people from all walks of life and to share the word of God through song to ourselves first and from there minister to others. We want to make believers and non believers feel as if they are not alone,” Williams said.
The choir practices every Monday and Thursday from 5:45 p.m. until 8 p.m. They also have two concerts during the course of the school year in the Chesapeake Rooms inside of the University Union; one during the fall semester and one during the spring semester. They will be ministering at the University of Maryland Baltimore County for their gospel choir’s event, “Ignite” on Sept. 19.
